Stepaside Village Walk

DescriptionA moderate walk from Stepaside Village, through the Right of Way in Fernhill Gardens to Barnacullia and on to the ‘back’ entrance of Ticknock. We will visit the tomb at Ballyedmonduff, and continue to Glencullen Adventure Park (The GAP) for lunch – food and drinks available at Fill the GAP Kitchen. We return to Stepaside via the Blue Light.  Great views over the south-east side of the city from Barnacullia.

Date: Saturday 19th May  at 10:30

Length: 14 km

Duration: 4½ to 5 hours.

Degree of difficulty: Moderate, some tracks are mucky and steep.

Meeting Point/Time: Outside the (closed) Garda Station in Stepaside Village at 10:30 (or when 44 bus arrives in Stepaside, if later).

Public Transport:  Stepaside is served by Dublin Bus 44 from Whitehall travelling through Drumcondra-City Centre-Ranelagh-Milltown-Dundrum Luas-and Sandyford.

Bring: Good walking boots, raingear, warm clothes, hot drink, water & food.
