Rainy Day Fun
IN DUBLIN’S OUTDOORS

It is often said that visitors don’t come to Ireland for the weather, and with that being true, sometimes you just want to come in from the Great Outdoors. And do you know, that’s ok. That is why we have a selection of rainy day activities across the county that will cater for everyone’s desires.

If you’re looking for fun filled way for your little ones to burn off that energy why not try Jump Zone at Liffey Valley. Or check out RUA RED, South Dublin’s art centre in Tallaght, and see what family activities they have available.

And we haven’t forgotten about the teen or adults. Why not try tackling a wall in the Dublin Climbing Centre Tallaght? Beginners and pros alike are welcome here. Don’t forget there’s always the opportunity to take a dip in the swimming pools in either Tallaght or Clondalkin Leisure Centres.

If you’d rather keep your feet on dry land, you could catch the latest blockbuster movies at Vue Liffey Valley. See if you can’t get a movie and meal deal too — some of the local restaurants and hotels offer this. Or why not catch a show at the Civic Theatre in Tallaght or take in an event at Arás Chrónáin, the Irish Cultural Centre, in Clondalkin? And of course, there’s shopping: from the local villages and neighbourhood retail centres, to the two regional shopping centres, The Square, Tallaght and Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, you will definitely find many ways in which to to spend your time… and money.
