Rua Red
Rua Red is South Dublin’s hub of creative activity. Opened in 2009, the centre is one of the largest multi-disciplinary arts venues in Ireland.
Based in the heart of the Cultural Quarter in Tallaght beside the Civic Theatre and County Library, there’s always something happening. Adjacent to the red line Luas terminus, the Square Shopping Centre and local civic offices, there is ample nearby parking.
Rua Red provides the opportunity for people of all backgrounds and ages to enjoy and partake in theatre, dance, music, literature, film-making, e-learning, visual art and all that the arts have to offer.
Rua Red’s exciting and varied programme of arts events is predominantly centred around galleries — high quality exhibitions accompanied by gallery talks and tours. Gallery entrance is always free of charge for the public.
Rua Red is also home to a number of creative tenants ranging from individual artists to successful arts organisations, as well as a wide-ranging residency programme.
Why not join the 150,000 unique visitors annually who enjoy our programmes?
