Rathcoole Park

Located just off the N7, Rathcoole Park is accessible either from the Beechwood Lawns housing estate or by two entrances opposite Avoca. The entrance to the park is landscaped and brings you straight on to a pair of interconnected lakes fed by the Camac River which also reaches Corkagh park before joining the river Liffey at Heuston Station. Rathcoole Park has been noted for its interesting topography and water features which are enhanced by the surrounding rolling landscape. The park is well maintained and can be used for a variety of activities.

The rise and fall of the landscape makes this the perfect location for walking and cycling. The benches scattered throughout allow you to take a moment and enjoy the stunning scenery. Bring a picnic or pop into the fabulous Food Market at Avoca to pick up some freshly baked breads or famous scones to enjoy in this tranquil setting. Avoca are serving a delicious range of freshly prepared Grab & Go meals, plus the full range of Avoca pantry products. There are also concessions such as French-style rotisserie Poulet Bonne Femme, Michie Sushi and Nature’s Gold health food store. There’s even a fully stocked cheese and charcuterie counter!
