The Foxhunter

The Foxhunter, Lucan’s much-loved pub, has reopened its doors after years of being shut, and we can’t wait to welcome you back! The Lucan institution, which started its life as a roadside tavern in the early 1900s, has had an impressive refurbishment, retaining many of the original features. Conveniently located on the N4, it is the perfect pitstop for travellers to fuel up with a bite to eat before hitting the road west, locals to drop in for a pint and enjoy live music or celebrate an occasion in the impressive Elm Room function space.

Within the pub, you’ll find delicious burgers and chicken bites by WOWBURGER, with something to enjoy for all the family.

There are e-charging stations and car valet services to start your trip down the N4 perfectly. Our neighbours, Elephant & Castle, open from 12pm daily too and have all your favourites like their world-famous chicken wings and more. They even have a dedicated kids play area to keep all the little ones entertained. Bookings are not required for the pub/WOWBURGER, however bookings for Elephant & Castle can be made here.
