Corkagh Park

If you’re coming to Dublin from Leinster you don’t need to hit the M50 for a family fun day out.  Located 10 minutes before the Red Cow Roundabout, why not consider Corkagh Park? Opened to the public in 1986, it consists of 120 hectares and was formerly part of a manor house and its estate Corkagh Demesne. Corkagh Park is located near the Naas Road and is a gateway to the Camac Greenway which leads to Clondalkin Village and the Round Tower.

Corkagh Park is home to Ireland’s only purpose-built cycle track. This cycle track provides a safe, traffic-free environment in which to learn skills, improve fitness, train and race. You will also find a little magic in the shape of a fairy wood, and not to mention Camac Valley Caravan and Camping Park.

If you’re interested the history of how Corkagh came to be a public park check out the Corkagh Podcast where the history of Clondalkin and Corkagh Park are delved into in a fun and engaging way.
