Foraging walks
Join nature columnist & Herbalist, Feebee Foran for a fun and interactive foraging walk through Firhouse and along the Dodder.
Together, we will discover and deep dive the wild herbs that grow in abundance throughout Ireland, giving you some tips on plant identification, “ditch witchery” as we learn to use their medicinal properties safely, the fantastic folklore attached to our most treasured wild weeds and why they are so important to us. Touch, taste (if you wish) and learn how to forage in a way that both utilizes and protects nature.
Plus, take your interest in foraging to the next level and enjoy a taste of nature, with a delicious, specially curated lunch featuring locally foraged wild herbs and plants.
Lunch is curated and curated by Laura Teegan of Teegan’s Treats.
