The Dublin Mountains Festival returns from the 1st – 10th of October with a fantastic programme celebrating the landscapes, heritage, wildlife, community and outdoor activities that make the Dublin Mountains so special 
The Dublin Mountains Festival returns from the 1st – 10th of October with a fantastic programme celebrating the landscapes, heritage, wildlife, community and outdoor activities that make the Dublin Mountains so special This year’s theme, “Discover Our Mountains”, invites people of all ages to explore the stories, history, nature and adventures waiting just beyond the city. From guided walks and family activities to archaeology, conservation, wellbeing, outdoor skills and mountain biking experiences, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The festival will officially launch on Tree Day on the 1st of October, with a special school’s event celebrating our forests and waterways. It will culminate on the 10th of October with a vibrant Community Day at The GAP, bringing people together to celebrate community in the mountains, alongside a special collaboration with Music in the Mountains
