Autumn Medley of Creativity: for 55+

If you are aged 55+ then please come down to the Round Tower Visitor Centre to enjoy the programme of free engagements from 11am – 2pm with tea/coffee included.

With performances to enjoy and creative workshops to take part in, the event is sure to creatively inspire you.  An array of representatives from groups including Clondalkin Library, Áras Chrónáin and the Clondalkin History Society will be available with information and advice on services and programmes, and on how to engage in creative activities in the community.

Workshops have a limited number of places and cannot be booked in advance.  They are based on a first come first served basis.  A registration area will be present.

Programme Times:

11am – 12pm Performance by Men’s Shed RAMs Choir. The lovely gents from the Men’s Shed will perform a number of songs in the gardens.

11am – 12pm Dance with Olwyn – Jive & Salsa. Join Dance Artist and Choreographer Olwyn Lyons in this fun workshop where you learn simple choreography to fun music.

11am – 1pm John Carpenter’s Cabaret painting class. Join John for a fun painting workshop. Within this relaxed environment you will create your own work of art to take home.

12pm – 1pm Blue Heaven Barbershop Chorus. The Blue Heaven Barbershop chorus with will entertain with a medley of tunes.

12.30pm – 2pm Mindful Origami with Yoshiko Watkins. Meditation and Origami are an ideal partnership. Take some time out to focus on creating beautiful origami, escaping the stresses of life for a while.

1pm – 2pm Jazzebelles Jazz Band. Enjoy the mellow sounds of the fantastic Jazzebelles from the beautiful surroundings of the Round Tower Gardens.
