Red Line Book Festival,
South Dublin Libraries and Arts,
The annual Red Line Book Festival runs in October and takes place in venues right across South Dublin County. The Red Line Book Festival is a celebration of all things literary; be it spoken, written, sung, played, illustrated or even just thought!
We provide a programme of events and workshops that appeal to people of all ages and interests, from children to adults and casual readers to book worms. Our line-up of events covers areas such as history, drama, poetry, music and literature, fuelling the imaginations of people who are eager to learn and explore new ideas and opinions.
“Red Line Book Festival — its vision, as ever, is to be entertaining, inclusive and stimulating.” (Catherine Dunne, author)
Our festival is funded by South Dublin County Council and managed by South Dublin Libraries and Arts. The programme showcases the best of national and international contemporary writers and performers.
